Phoenix Truck & Crane
For the past 25 years, Phoenix Truck & Crane has been an integral part of the Tri-Cities community. Demonstrating leadership in social responsibility, philanthropy, and the donation of time by those at all levels within the organization. Phoenix’s dedication to the community has been anchored by founder, Bill Dick.
Phoenix Truck & Crane donates over $100,000 each year to a number of local organizations, including an average of $50,000 per year to the Eagle Ridge
Hospital Foundation. The remainder of Phoenix’s donations can be seen benefiting Sunshine Dream for Kids, Société francophone de Maillardville, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Basics for Babies, and many more.
Phoenix is often the first to react in emergencies to provide support to those in need, including the needs of new immigrants to the community and those seeking assistance due to devastating situations. This was highlighted specifically during the past year as Phoenix was drawn to step up during the Glen Street apartment fire, at the Syrian Refugees first Eid Al-Fitr in Canada and for a local person who couldn’t afford her wheelchair.
Thanks to the corporate culture instilled by ownership, Phoenix staff volunteer their own time helping the Christmas Hampers program for Share, providing a stage for the Terry Fox Run, and chaperoning local special needs kids visiting Disneyland.
