Who is Kris Schjelderup?
After graduating from the UBC Human Kinetics program in 2003, Kris entered the health and wellness field with IF in West Van. Over 6.5yrs there he helped grow that business to the highest revenue it had ever seen. Once he had that success in a management role, he decided to open up his own IF location back in his hometown in the Tri Cities. In November of 2009, he opened IF Port Moody. After seeing great success over the past 8yrs he decided to open up another IF location here in the Tri Cities in Coquitlam, October 2016.
He is a passionate leader, manager and business operator. Always focusing on bettering himself both personally and professionally. Since he opened his first location in Port Moody, he is married to his beautiful wife Candice, has 2 beautiful children, Kaydence and Callah (with another on the way), has been able to purchase his first home in Anmore, a rental property in Port Moody, a commercial building in Port Moody (which IF resides in) and open up a second IF location. He is a great example of how a young professional can work and live in the Tri Cities and create a great life here.
Kris also supports local. All of his personal and professional legal, accounting, mortgages, insurance, corporate clothing, etc all stem from the Tri Cities. He also is a big supporter of the local restaurants, breweries, and other business alliances in his industry such as the Runners Den, Impulse Sport, Ian Dunsmuir, Rocky Point Physio and Velofix.
