Rotary Clubs of the Tri-Cities

In the Tri-Cities, Rotary is represented by separate clubs – The Rotary Club of Coquitlam, Coquitlam Sunrise, Port Coquitlam Centennial, and Port Moody. All 4 clubs are committed to the Rotary belief in humanitarian service, high-ethical standards, and service above self.

All the activities of the Rotary Clubs are sustained through the volunteer efforts of both time and skills to the Club. Funds for chosen projects are raised by each Club, through a variety of community events. Signature events hosted by the local Rotary Clubs include the Annual Golf Tournament, LobsterFest, RibFest, Caledonia night, Search for the Perfect Pint, Shred-a-Thon, Amazing Race, Italian Night, and Cinco de Mayo celebrations.

Rotarians believe in strengthening their communities, not only through their own projects, but also by supporting and partnering with other community leaders and organizations. Locally, these include SHARE Society, police services, schools, Douglas College, environmental groups and health care facilities. Weekly meetings are the core of member engagement, which includes guest speakers to continually inform members about community needs, efforts and Rotary resources.
