(COQUITLAM) May 30, 2023 — It was all smiles last week as Tri-Cities Chamber members honed their golf skills while networking in the sunshine. Nearly 60 people attended the Chamber's Women in Business Committee Swing into Spring event May 25 at the Westwood Plateau Executive Course.
"The Tri-Cities Chamber and its Women in Business Committee are passionate about supporting the emotional, financial, mental, and physical strength of women in the Tri-Cities," said Vivien Symington, Tri-Cities Chamber Board Director and Chair of the Women in Business Committee. "Our goal is to connect our members with other businesswomen, supporters, and allies, to further their achievements and reach their goals. Together, we work towards building a community in which women can thrive."
Golfers enjoyed appetizers and drinks on the fairway, before splitting into small groups for instruction with Lago Golf Academy golf pros rotating through the driving range, putting green, and chipping hole. The event was sponsored by MNP and Sagen. The Chamber's Women in Business program is sponsored by Scotiabank Women Initiative.
