Tri-Cities Chamber celebrates Business Excellence Awards with future-themed gala

(TRI-CITIES) April 30, 2024 — Nearly 400 Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce members, community leaders, and supporters gathered at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver's Show Theatre in Coquitlam on Saturday to celebrate the Chamber's Business Excellence Awards at a glamorous gala.

"To all of our Business Excellence Awards nominees, finalists and recipients, our Chamber is so proud to celebrate you. There is no shortage of exceptional leaders, businesses, and community champions here in the Tri-Cities," said Leslie Courchesne, CEO, Tri-Cities Chamber. "Thanks to all of our member businesses, sponsors and supporters, ours is one of the fastest growing chambers of commerce and boards of trade in the province. It is a powerful network created by you -- our members -- to ensure the voice of business in the Tri-Cities is heard loud and clear, and that our communities thrive. The Chamber received nearly 80 nominations for its eight award categories. A volunteer panel of 10 judges selected three finalists for each award, with the recipients announced at the gala. For the ninth award, Jenifer Wright, Past Chair of the Chamber's Board of Directors honored Shelley Linn as Chamber Member of the Year. The event was emceed by Kevin Lim, radio host and voice actor, and presented by Douglas College.
