(TRI-CITIES) November 12, 2024 — The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former BC Premier John Horgan. We extend our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
As Premier, John Horgan always had a keen interest in connecting with chambers of commerce and boards of trade across our province, including our own. His leadership across party lines and political leanings was so greatly appreciated. He will be dearly missed.
John Horgan served as the 36th Premier of British Columbia from 2017 to 2022. He was first elected MLA in 2005 on Vancouver Island. At the time of his passing at age 65, he was Canada's Ambassador to Germany.
