(TRI-CITIES) December 17, 2024 — The Taste of the Tri-Cities festival is back, presented by Sysco! Participating food and beverage establishments in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody will have exclusive offers for customers from February 15 to March 15, including set menus, take-out specials and limited-time discounts. Local businesses who wish to participate are urged to register now.
Last year's festival attracted 77 participating establishments, and more than 4 million media and social media impressions.
"We are inviting all local restaurants, bakeries, breweries, pubs and cafes to be a part of this culinary event that celebrates and promotes the unique flavors of the Tri-Cities," said Chloe Wan, Director of Strategy, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. "Participating in the Taste of the Tri-Cities campaign not only enhances your business' exposure but also contributes to the overall success and vibrancy of the local dining scene. This is your chance to showcase your culinary expertise and be featured in this celebration of food, culture and community."
"Taste of Tri-Cities helped us showcase our unique Hong Kong dining experience, and it was an incredible opportunity to connect with the community. Our signature sizzling iron plate special was a standout, and we were thrilled to see how much our customers loved it! The event not only boosted our sales but also gave us a platform to introduce our authentic flavors to a wider audience. We're grateful for the support and excited to continue sharing our passion for Hong Kong cuisine with everyone!”

“We sold 407 promotional burgers during Taste of Tri-Cities which was great for our lunch crowd. We had this item available between 11am-5pm which catered to our local clientele. Some guests were aware of this promo and asked for it and some did not, which we were happy to accommodate and inform them of this amazing program. All in all it was a great opportunity to bring awareness to the restaurant. At that point we were only open for about 3 months.”

“Taste of the Tri-Cities has been a great program that we’ve participated in year after year. Their platform has introduced us to new customers who might not have discovered us otherwise. The increased exposure has boosted orders, allowing us to share our passion for baked goods with a wider audience. Beyond the numbers, being part of such a supportive community of local businesses has made us feel more connected than ever to the Tri-Cities area.”
