Tri-Cities Chamber Announces 2018 Economic Summit
(TRI-CITIES) March 19, 2018 – The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is hosting the fourth annual gathering of internationally acclaimed business leaders and visionaries on May 8th at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. Bringing together some of the best minds in emerging markets under one roof, this event is set to be the business event in the region.
This year’s event focuses on radical changes happening in the marketplace. With cannabis legalization around the corner and the increased popularity in crypto-currency, the Economic Summit will provide insight into the future of the business landscape. The Economic Summit provides our members and the Metro Vancouver business community the opportunity to learn how to navigate the changes and use the new technology to their advantage.
Keynote speaker, Niels Velhuis, President of The Fraser Institute will present a thoughtful address on Canadian Competitiveness at a Crossroads. He will review the provincial and federal economic outlook and explore what pro-growth economic policies can re-establish Canadian and British Columbian competitiveness.

Panelists will discuss how digital currencies will affect banks, businesses, and the overall economy.
