Chamber to host ‘Canada Votes 2025: Tri-Cities All Candidates Event’ on April 23

(TRI-CITIES) April 17, 2025 — The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is pleased host Canada Votes 2025: Tri-Cities Candidates Event for the two ridings of Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam and Port Moody-Coquitlam, on Wednesday, April 23 in advance of the federal election on April 28.

Chamber Board Chair Jennifer McKinnon will moderate the event taking place at Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam. It runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The event will not be streamed online, but it will be recorded and posted to the Chamber's YouTube channel and website following the event.

The event is free and open to the public, with no pre-registration required. All candidates who have been confirmed by Elections Canada have been invited to participate, and those who plan to attend will be listed on the Chamber's event page here.

Following some initial business-related questions asked by the Chamber, attendees will be able to pose questions to candidates using the Slido app. Not all questions may be answered due to time restrictions.
