Chamber Applauds Canada-Korea Trade Agreement

(Tri-Cities) March 13, 2014 – The Chamber is pleased to learn that Canada has secured a free trade agreement with South Korea, one that gives Canada and British Columbia a strong foothold in Asia’s lucrative markets. With the removal of most trade barriers to South Korea, many of our Chamber members involved in exporting, and Tri-Cities businesses in general, will have the opportunity to engage the growing Asia Pacific market, creating the potential for great growth in our region. We applaud the Canadian government for securing the Canada-South Korea Free Trade Agreement and look forward to the opportunities this will bring to the Tri-Cities.

Aaron Robinson, the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Advisor, would like to open his door to local businesses looking to discuss this agreement and the impact it will have on the Tri-Cities.  Feel free to contact him at
