What is your favourite thing about what you do?

We empower our clients with a gift of language to enjoy places they live in, and travel to, by focusing on conversation. It is not about passing any tests!

What is the best kept secret about your products/services?

Teaching materials which we use are all interactive; what you learn in class can be accessed online giving you the best of both worlds. The workbooks have “cheat sheet” kits which you can take with you when traveling.


Who is your ideal customer/client?

Anyone who wants to learn or improve their language abilities to enjoy where they live or places they visit.

What’s one thing you would like people to know about your business?

Its all about the client! We offer a free class to try and experience what we teach and how we teach. For Tri Cities Chamber members we have a special promotion of register for one course and get other course free.


How did you get into this business?

Our personal experience of the power of language from traveling across the world made us think of this business. Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world and English the third. We felt there was a void in teaching practical, real-life language skill. Most of the schools focus on preparing clients for passing a test, we focus on giving our clients confidence to speak.

Tell us about your proudest moment?

Starting a new business with quality teaching materials in itself was a very proud moment. Everyone at Europa Language School is very proud of the standards we have set for language teaching.


How do most of your clients/customers hear about you?

We have invested heavily in promotion, in both print and digital media. Our focus has been in creating awareness in Tri Cities where we have taken ad space in English and other language publications. We have partnered with local community centres to advertise our School and of course, the Chamber has been an active partner in promoting its new member.
