Press Release | Chamber calls for submissions for the 2018 Business Excellence Awards


(Tri-Cities) August 22, 2018 – The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the 2018 Business Excellence Awards. Every year, the Business Excellence Awards recognize outstanding Tri-Cities’ businesses, organizations, and individuals that demonstrate excellence in business and a passion for our community. If you or your company is an outstanding Tri-Cities’ business submit your award application today.

Business of the Year (30+ Employees)

Community Spirit Award
2017 Winner: Sharon Perry, Sharon Perry & Associates, Chartered Professional Accountants

Not-for-Profit of the Year
2017 Winner: ACCESS Youth Outreach Services

Business Leader of the Year
2017 Winner: Vivien Symington, Club Aviva


Young Professional Award

Environmental Steward of the Year



Businesses and individuals that submit must have a valid business license in the Tri-Cities, must have conducted business operations within the Tri-Cities area for the past twelve consecutive months prior to submission date, and businesses do not have to be a member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce to submit.

If you know an outstanding Tri-Cities’ business, organization, or individual, please show your appreciation by submitting a nomination for our 2018 Business Excellence Awards.  Nominations can be submitted online at You can also download a nomination form at the same address and submit it to the Chamber via email, fax or drop-off.  Deadline for submissions is September 21, 2018.
