Held in partnership with YWCA and WorkBC, Launch2Success was established to support young entrepreneurs as they work towards pursuing their business ideas and dreams.
About the Program
Launch2Success is a free 16-week program for young entrepreneurs (aged 15-29) who are looking to launch their own start-ups. Participants will work with advisors, mentors and business networks to successfully develop and grow their business ideas. There will be a total of three cohorts, with 16 participants selected per cohort, and mentorship begins in Week 9 of the program.
The program dates are as follows:
- Cohort 1 – Program begins May 31 | Mentorship begins July 26
- Cohort 2 – Program begins August 23 | Mentorship begins October 18
- Cohort 3 – Program begins November 22 | Mentorship begins January 24
Volunteer as a Business Mentor
The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to become one of the program’s volunteer business mentors.
We are looking for professionals, with at least five years of business experience, to help advise, coach, and shape the next generation of young entrepreneurs who are planning to expand or launch their business ideas.
As a business mentor, you would provide 7-10 hours of mentorship over six weeks, with one hour of dedicated mentorship and 15-20 minutes of additional email correspondence per week.
Volunteer as a Guest Speaker
Are you interested in giving back to the next generation of young professionals but unable to commit to a mentorship?
Do you have knowledge or experience that would benefit an up-and-coming entrepreneur?
If so, consider sharing that knowledge with the young entrepreneurs enrolled in YWCA’s Launch2Success Mentorship program by volunteering as a guest speaker!
