Strive Health & Performance
Finalist: Business of the Year (1-10 Employees)
Strive Health & Performance’s mission in starting their clinic was to create an environment where our staff and patients/customers would enjoy being a part of. The goal of Strive was to be a place that people associate with quality health care, quality people and an overall positive environment. Through this, they would be able to have a positive impact on the community by helping those seeking a better quality of life, as well as making strong connections with other professionals in the community. Although they have only been open for 15 months, they have been overwhelmed with our ability to achieve these goals. Although they are happy with the progress we continue looking to learn how to better ourselves and others around us. Leading by the example of how to build a successful business while sticking to your core values. By receiving this award, it will help give Strive a platform to do so.
Strive Health and Performance prides themselves on excellent customer relationships: in just over a year they already have 27 google reviews with a perfect rating of 5.0. The ranking and supportive comments speak volumes to the positive relationships they develop with their customers. It has also led to many new patients/customers that chose Strive over other clinics due to reading the positive reviews.
They have an innovative approach to business growth and development: the optimal model for growth is reaching out to the community to connect with the public and other businesses. They have achieved this through a variety of methods. Firstly, they reached out to fellow Tri-Cities Chamber member Longevity Graphics. They are using the most up-to-date technology to increase our presence on the internet. Secondly, are promoting art work of local talent featuring pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Tri-Cities. Every month they ask for submissions for these pictures and then select the best picture to print and frame to hang in the reception area. This attracts people to their business through the submissions, as well as supports local individuals who want to share their art. Thirdly, there is a chalkboard wall which we use for inspiring quotes, contests, event updates, etc. These items are then posted on our social media, we have gained many followers that enjoy what we share.
The goal is not only focused inside the clinic, but outside as well. They stay involved in the community and help any way they can. Here are some of the ways they give back:
1) Volunteer services and donate prizes at the “24-minute run in memory of Rob Maar” whose proceeds go to the Zajac Ranch for children
2) Volunteer services and donate prizes at the “5 Peaks Adventure Trail race – Buntzen Lake”
3) Run a winter food drive for the SHARE society. Last year we offered our services at a discount if people brought in 3 items of food. We donated 255 pounds of food!
4) We are currently treating a member of the community who needs treatment due to chronic back pain and cannot work as a result. He does not have health benefits nor does he have the financial means to pay for the treatment so we waive the cost of treatment.
