Media Statement | Tri-Cities Chamber is Pleased with Easing of Pandemic Restrictions

(TRI-CITIES) February 15, 2022 — Leslie Courchesne, CEO of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, made the following statement in reaction to the reduced restrictions for business and travel announced today by the federal and provincial governments.

“The Tri-Cities Chamber is so pleased to hear this great news today on the easing of pandemic restrictions. Businesses related to the events sector, restaurants, the fitness industry, and more can truly begin to rebuild.

“But restarting a business after two years, or ramping up capacity, comes with its own challenges. We urge government to ensure economic recovery through ongoing financial assistance to businesses.”
